CoolWallet Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how CoolWallet, the Android wallet for Cool Coin (COOL), handles information when you use the application.

Information CoolWallet Processes

CoolWallet does not require you to create an in-app user account. To provide wallet functions, the app may process wallet addresses, transaction amounts, balances, transaction identifiers, and other blockchain-related information that you choose to enter, request, or broadcast.

The app may communicate with Cool Coin network services and application programming interfaces to retrieve balances, network status, transaction history, and to broadcast transactions. Standard server infrastructure may temporarily record technical information such as an IP address, request time, device or app version, and error information for security, reliability, and troubleshooting.

Public Blockchain Information

Cool Coin is a public blockchain. Wallet addresses, transaction amounts, transaction identifiers, block information, and other data submitted to the blockchain may become publicly visible and cannot generally be deleted or changed by CoolWallet.

How Information Is Used

Information is used to operate wallet features, display blockchain and network information, broadcast transactions requested by the user, protect services from abuse, diagnose technical problems, and improve reliability.

Information Sharing

CoolWallet does not sell personal information. Blockchain-related information may be shared with Cool Coin nodes, network services, pool or explorer services, and other infrastructure as necessary to perform actions requested by the user. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or to protect users, the service, or the public.

Advertising and Tracking

CoolWallet does not contain third-party advertising. The app is not intended to track users across unrelated apps or websites for advertising purposes.

Data Retention and Security

Blockchain records are maintained by the decentralized Cool Coin network and may remain permanently public. Server logs, when created, are retained only as reasonably necessary for security, troubleshooting, and service operation. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no electronic system or network can be guaranteed completely secure.

User Choices and Responsibilities

You control whether to initiate and broadcast transactions. Protect your device, wallet credentials, recovery information, and private keys. Never share recovery information or private keys with anyone claiming to provide support.

Children

CoolWallet is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to CoolWallet, legal requirements, or data practices. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
